if i could take back any second of my 2006, it would have been the parts where i wasted time fiddling with thoughts of going with the flow, that time would sort things out for me. and as result, i hurt so many, and solved nothing.
i do not look at 2006 with regret. but somehow, i couldnt help feeling this tinge of shame. at how i went through so much because i wanted to get my mind off you. as a result, i couldnt say that i lived 2006 with much pride but im glad that im leaving it in a much positive way then how i started it.
i gotta look on the positive side. and i do realise that while i had my downs, my life should be considered a blesing for many out there, no thanks to war and terror, die for the sake of nobody. and im thankful really for evrything that had occured to me this year. even though i may not remember much now.
and if you look carefully at your pictures over the months, you'd realise that our face change. i know mine did. just of tiny amounts but it made me feel different somehow. like i could literally see myself grow up. and when i looked at my january pictures, i saw youth. god damn me for i do not know how to explain this.
sentimental stuffs aside, ive made a new year resolution. i will not abuse the family. my family. whether i like or not, this is my family. if i dont appreciate it, then i really shouldnt call myself a daughter.
and i hope in 2007, dear god, i hope to ___________________ and excel in my A level. the blank is a secret of which i'll only reveal when it comes true.
as told by a dear friend when i joked about him writting my entry instead.
"This isnt Isyah. This is one of her mates, blogging on her behalf. The reason that im even doing this is because ol isyah has a mental block. She can only stare straight into the screen and not type anything. Nothing new, i know.
Basically, New Year's hasnt been a blast for her. Doing her history ppt isnt really a way to spend New Year's. But perhaps, the only reason she is doing it now is because she procrastinates too much, spending time with her friends and hanging out instead. So, you guys better be grateful she even remembers your name.
That aside, she wants to have a little more fun now before she embarks on an intensive and vigourous studying routine for her A levels. I would do the same. She gets excited if anyone asks her out. So go ahead and try if you don’t believe me.
Her 2006 has been…interesting. Wasn’t really a smooth sailing year. Had to adapt to plenty of changes. School, relationships, friends, environment. She even changed her email so that she can get closer to her ring of mates. She gives her heart to whoever is in need of one. Perhaps her most outstanding trait is her sincerity. You’ll be lying if you said she never cares.
Considering the circumstances, I personally think she handled everything very well indeed. Cheers to you babe~"
